With great success in the previous edition 2020, both in participation of artists and public attendance, as well as sales achieved, our Fair consolidates its proposal in the magical month of December, full of good intentions and gifts …, counting again with the freshness that represents the proximity of the artist and with a new and interesting bet exhibition and promotion in the new projects we call: “Artist Digital Fair” and “Artist experience”
In a unique setting, the Carlos Amberes Foundation, a palace-building protected as a “cultural asset” on Madrid’s famous “golden mile” in the Salamanca district, with the best exclusive luxury brands, is holding the 2nd ARTIST Madrid Contemporary Art Fair in the magical month of December.

II Edition of the Contemporary Art Fair ARTIST Madrid
We begin this new edition, with the revolution that involves two new projects: Artist Digital Fair and Artist Experience. We continue with our “zero commission” philosophy. The artist or gallery sells directly to the public, without any intermediation, creating that direct loyalty between client, artist or gallery.
We offer notoriety to both the artist, galleries that feature the artist, as well as the public that comes to contemporary art, through exhibitions in exclusive rooms, as well as digital level in the new platforms of: Artist Digital Fair, facing the new reality of confinement that we live, to promote artists, galleries and contemporary art, also from their homes.
In the new ARTIST edition we will have, together with our artists, the painting of the genius Rubens, a 17th century painter, owned by the Carlos Amberes Foundation. We count with the best digital tools from virtual exhibitions, to diffusion in networks and specialized marketing in the promotion of the artist, as well as in the approach of the public to the contemporary art.
From the Contemporary Art Fair Artist we recover the figure of the artist and his relevance on the contemporary art scene. Bringing you closer to his work and his person, through a model of self-representation or through Art Galleries that share with us the same need: “Bringing the artist closer to the public”. We support a new culture of collecting for art lovers, aimed at both the consolidated collector and those who are accessing this exciting world of contemporary art for the first time, and who can understand it with simple explanations. Helping society to perceive the excellence of art with a closeness, which flees from the stereotypes of recent times.

ARTIST celebrated its 2020 edition with great success between February 26 and March 1. With the participation of national and international galleries and artists dedicated to contemporary art, with a large attendance of participating countries: Spain, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cuba, France, England, Iran, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Why the Red Dot in our logo
The name ARTIST, because of its global meaning and intelligible in any language, was the ideal word to reflect our sensitivity towards the protagonist of the Fair: the Artist. But we also included the longed-for ``red dot``, which indicates ``acquired work``. Because we know and feel what this means for the artist, not so much in economic terms (as well), but above all because of the satisfaction of having connected with the public's sensitivity and sharing with it a part of its personal and creative dimension. So whenever you see the 'red dot' in ARTIST, we will be closer to achieving our goal: bringing the audience closer to the artist.

The II Edition of ARTIST 2020 will take place from 15 to 20 December at the Carlos Antwerp Foundation, being a 6-day fair: “one more day for more notoriousness for the artist”.
